Virtual Private Network (VPN)

In essence this connects the user’s home PC to the office network using the internet instead of the network cable or Wireless (WiFi) connection they would use at the office.

Data transfer speeds are limited by the speed of the internet and requires the home PC to be installed with any applications necessary to open the files across the internet.

The connection is secured through the use of encryption
